Second Meeting - October 7th!

Since our last meeting, we've been busy tabling, planting cypresses, fixing boardwalks, helping at a Duval Elementary, and, of course, getting our feet wet!

Come see how you can get involved in the club at our next meeting - October 7th at 6pm in the Phelps Lab Conference Room.  There will be free PIZZA and soda!

The club's been busy this past week!  Thursday we repaired the SEEP boardwalk.  A total of 10 boards were replaced!


Also, we planted 360 cypress seedlings this Saturday.  The club now has 750 cypress trees! These trees will help us raise funds for club activities and pizza for meetings.

Meeting Sept 2nd - you otter be there!



Like sea otters?  Interested in climate change and salt marshes?  Well, then you're in luck!  It's time for our first meeting of the year!  Join us on: September 2nd at 6:00 pm in the Phelps Lab seminar room (Bldg. 0856) to learn about our plans for the upcoming year, and hear Christine Angelini discuss: Mussels, Sea Otters, and the resilience of US salt marshes to global change!  Free pizza and drinks will be provided!
