Wetland Club Donates 113 Trees for Arbor Day!

Happy Arbor Day!

To celebrate and reTREEt America, the UF Wetlands Club donated 113 bald and pond cypress trees to the UF Natural History Museum's Arbor Day event. http://www.flmnh.ufl.edu/news/2012/release_04-04-2012.htm

We added these trees in addition to their 400 other species: 100 dogwoods, 100 redbuds, 50 mayhaws, 50 pawpaws, 25 Walter's viburnums, 25 tulip Poplars, 25 sugarberries and 25 sparkleberries.

They are giving away these trees on April 28 starting at 10 am in celebration of Arbor Day.  Trees are first come first serve and one per person.

Thanks to our tree transporters: Wes Henson, Dr. Mark Clark, and Anna Normand

We still have about 300 more beautiful cypress trees to sell at $5 each.
